Human Genetics Panel

Genetic disorders are caused due to a change in the DNA, either in whole or in part, away from the normal sequence. Genetic disorders can be caused by a single gene mutation (monogenic disorder), by multiple mutations (multifactorial inheritance disorder), by gene mutations-environmental factors, or by damage to chromosomes (numerical or structural).

Real-time PCR is currently one of the most powerful molecular approaches and is widely used in gene expression analysis and mutation detection for robust diagnosis of genetic disorders.

Used for detecting the HLA-B27 genetic marker, which plays a critical role in immune system differentiation and is a known risk factor for various chronic inflammatory disorders.
